Job summary
A NOC Supervisor must demonstrate excellent technical knowledge with a minimum of 1 year of IT Network Operations Center and 2 years IT Admin support experience and be proficient in the following skill sets:
Essential job functions
- Windows Server 2008 Technologies and Active Directory
- Microsoft Exchange
- ISA and/or TMG
- Cisco router and PIX firewall operations in an enterprise of various WAN scenarios such as a frame, point-to-point and secure VPN over the internet
- Thin client technology such as Citrix and Terminal Services
- Use of network management software (HP SIM, SCOM 2007)
General Requirements
- Must be available to work a varied shift schedule
- Perform Level 2 and above trouble-shooting skills
- Must be able to multi-task, have outstanding analytical abilities, and work in a fast paced environment
- Project management methodology and change management
- Be highly motivated
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
- Minimum Associates Degree in IT
- Industry certification
- Proven leadership
